Eurovia PUMA® surfacing :
All the PUMA® formulations were tested with Chailloué pale aggregate and a more specific cut in 5/8 Granusil®. The F10 formula was chosen because it represents the best compromise between the thermal, mechanical and financial aspects. In the end, the pozzolan porous aggregate chosen as it offers a real economic advantage in relation to Granulex® (light aggregate made up of slate expanded under the effect of heat), of which the disadvantage in terms of paleness has been compensated by the 14% addition of Granusil® (crushed, burnt silica).

Colas SMAphon® surfacing :
All the SMAphon® formulations were tested with Montebourg pale aggregate.
The SMAphon® F9 formula was chosen for its more homogeneous surface appearance and a lower, 6/10 proportion of aggregate. It helps reduce the noise of tyre to road contact.
